In order to enable discussions for a program, a program requires 2 settings:
- The Program Grouping that a program belongs in should have forums enabled in its settings.
- The Program settings should enable the Discussion tab.
1. To enable forums for a program grouping
- Click Programs > Programs Grouping Browser
- Find the Program Grouping to enable forums for and click the ID or Group Name
- On the Program Group Information click Edit Information
- Change the Enable Forum drop-down to YesĀ then click Update Information.
2. To enable the Discussion tab for a Program
- Click on Programs > Browse Programs
- Find the Program to enable the Discussion tab for and click the ID
- On the Program Information page, click Edit Information
- Add "Discussions" to the TabsĀ field as shown below and click Update Information:
Now upon viewing the Program in the Learning Center, you should see a "Discussions" tab and have access to the program forum when clicking it.
