A user can only void sales that they created in the Administration Tool. The Void Invoice option is only available for 12 hours after the invoice was created. After that time, the Void Invoice option will disappear from the Invoice Information screen


Note: If you do not see the Void Invoice option at the top of the Invoice Information screen then you do not have permission to void a sale. You should contact the Accounting department and request a refund for the sale.

 

To void a sale, follow the steps below:

  1. Select Void Invoice at the top of the Invoice Information screen.


  2. On the Void Invoice section, if the payment type was Credit Card enter the Transaction ID from Cybersource


In Reason for Void, please explain why this sale was voided. You are required to enter a reason. Please be as detailed as possible. Select Void Invoice to complete the void. After you submit the void, the Invoice Status will change to Voided.
