To add a new sale item, perform the following steps (if the user is purchasing more than one item, repeat the following steps):
- Select +Add Sale Item button
- The +Add Sale Item Screen, will appear:
3. From the +Add Sale Item Screen, select one of the following options:
- Program: This gives you a list of all of the Duke IM programs that are currently allowing registration. If a program is not on the list, the program is not available for registration. You can view the registration information about a specific program in the Browse Programs section of the Administration Tool.
Important: If the Program Start Date has passed or if the program is full, please contact the Program Manager to confirm that it is OK to register the user in the program.
- Drop-In Course: These courses are offered on a weekly basis and do not allow pre-registration. For example, Gentle Yoga and Experiencing Mindfulness are Drop-In Courses.
All Drop-in courses will be listed on the create sales screen, regardless if it is set to as Purchasable, or Not Purchasable. This will display only current and future courses.
- Miscellaneous: This area allows you to charge users for miscellaneous items such as lost course materials, missed supervision, and missed oral exams. You have the option to enter a price for these items.
- If you choose Program, select Add Item for the program that the user would like to purchase. For the IHCPT: Certification and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction programs, you will need to select a section before Add Item becomes available. After you select Add Item, the program will appear in the Sale Item section.
- If you choose Drop-In Course, select Add Item for the program that the user would like to purchase. After you select Add Item, the program will appear in the Sale Item section.
- If you choose Miscellaneous, select the appropriate type of sale from the drop-down menu. Enter an Item Description and the Price then select +Add Item to add this sale to the Sale Item section. Some of the items have prices that will appear associated with them, but those prices can be changed if applicable.
- If you choose Program, select Add Item for the program that the user would like to purchase. For the IHCPT: Certification and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction programs, you will need to select a section before Add Item becomes available. After you select Add Item, the program will appear in the Sale Item section.
4. If user would like to purchase more than one item, please repeat the steps above.
